Dr. Henner Papendieck, 
Project Coordinator,
Development Economist. 1994 to 2011 Coordinator of the Mali-Nord program (GIZ/KfW); 1982 to 1988 State Representative of the DED in Ghana; previously, subsequently, and intermittently development policy expert and consultant for BMZ, GIZ, KfW, and others.

Salaha Baby, national coordinator. Agricultural engineer. 2000-2017 Employee of the Mali-Nord program, where he was head of the Diré branch for many years and later national coordinator (ad interim).

Dr. Barbara Rocksloh-Papendieck, has been advising CAAS since its founding. She is a sociologist and author of the book Das andere Mali (The Other Mali).

Alassane Boré,  an agricultural engineer, has been responsible for agricultural training and production at CAAS since spring 2020 and has been head of the Agricultural Center (Kalassa 1) since 2023.

Dr. Antje Tschira 
Managing Partner of CAAS gGmbH. Independent systemic organizational consultant, coach, and organizational developer for educational, cultural, and scientific organizations, author, and lecturer in educational science and organizational design. Accompanying and supporting CAAS since 2017.

Amadou Araba Doumbia is responsible for livestock farming at CAAS. He is an animal breeding and husbandry engineer and a veterinarian. He also runs his own veterinary practice in Kalassa, which includes a pharmacy and sells livestock concentrate.

Leonie Weber-Seldess, Communication. Partner at CAAS gGmbH, artist, project initiator, and coordinator. Involved in the association Häuser der Hoffnung – Schulbildung für Afrika e.V. (Houses of Hope – School Education for Africa) from 2004 to 2018, working on public relations for CAAS since 2018.

Bougouri Mamadou Diarra, teacher, is responsible for program planning and organizational work on campus.

Ute Clement, Strategy and networking. Member of the management board of CAAS gGmbH. International organizational consultant, former managing director of Ute Clement Consulting GmbH. Expertise in intercultural cooperation and change management, author of various books.

As administrative secretary, Fatoumata Samaké contributes her organizational and social expertise from the Jigiya Bon center of the association Häuser der Hoffnung (Houses of Hope) in Daoudabougou, Bamako.

Prof. Dr. Fritz B. Simon,  Partner at CAAS gGmbH, professor of leadership and organization at Witten/Herdecke University. Family therapist and systemic organizational consultant; author of over 25 books. Co-founder and managing director of Carl-Auer Verlag and Simon, Weber and Friends GmbH for systemic organizational consulting.

Safiatou Diarra is a food technology specialist. She teaches trainees and workshop groups about food processing.

The non-profit association Häuser der Hoffnung – Schulbildung für Afrika e.V.  (Houses of Hope – Education for Africa) is the fourth shareholder of CAAS gGmbH. Häuser der Hoffnung e.V. (executive board: Dr. Gudrun Eisermann, Ulrike Dässler, and Dr. Hermann Göbel) has been working since 2004 to provide school and vocational training for girls in Mali in order to improve the living conditions of women and their families. Since 2004, it has maintained the “Jigiya Bon” center in Bamako, a residential home for 60 schoolgirls and trainees, in Bamako since 2004, runs a tailor’s workshop, grants small loans to women, has built primary schools in seven villages and also supports various charitable projects there.

Mohamed Keita is an electrical engineer and is responsible for the oil press at CAAS.

Yah Diarra runs the CAAS farm shop and is also a food processing instructor.

Madou Soumaré, elementary school teacher by training, is responsible for the vehicle fleet at CAAS.

Dr. Gunthard Weber, 
founder of CAAS gGmbH, systemic consultant; founder/co-founder of numerous companies, institutes, and a publishing house. In 2004, after visiting Mali, he and others founded the association Houses of Hope – School Education for Africa and has been committed to the school and vocational education of girls and young women there ever since. Since the end of 2017, he has devoted himself to building up CAAS. In February 2025, he stepped down from the management board and now supports the project in an advisory capacity.
