This year, CAAS, together with the CAP school authority in Siby (Centre d’Animation Pédagogique de Siby), is offering support courses at the school in Kalassa. Since August 4, more than 140 students from grades 3 to 9 have taken part in the program, which gives them the opportunity to prepare for the new school year during the summer holidays.
Classes for the primary level (grades 3–6) take place in the mornings, while those for the secondary level (grades 7–9) are held in the afternoons. The children participate with great enthusiasm, and the teachers are equally motivated. The goal is to consolidate what has already been learned and to give the students the best possible start to the coming school year.
Many parents have expressed their appreciation for this initiative. The new director of the CAP in Siby, Mr. Soumaila Coulibaly, also visited the classes to personally encourage the children. He emphasized the value of CAAS’s support and the perspectives it opens up for the future of the region.
