Following the inauguration of the CAAS slaughterhouse and oil mill in Kalassa on February 20, the Malian Prime Minister, General Abdoulaye Maïga, invited the CAAS team and the German Ambassador, Dr. Dietrich Pohl, to an audience on Friday, February 21, 2025, in the presence of the Minister of National Entrepreneurship, Employment and Vocational Training, Oumou Sall Seck, and numerous cabinet members.
The Malian coordinator Salaha Baby and Henner Papendieck presented the work of CAAS, as well as the founder Gunthard Weber, our new managing director Antje Tschira and the entire team.
The Prime Minister praised Gunthard Weber’s personal commitment and thanked all those involved for their contribution to the development of education and the agricultural and food sector in Mali. He described our initiative as a model for international cooperation in the service of sustainable development.
