The construction projects around the school complex in Kalassa are making significant progress. In recent weeks, several important measures have been successfully completed.
The fencing of the school grounds has been finalized, creating clear structures and improved safety for students. A new sanitation building serving the entire school complex has also been completed, significantly improving the hygienic infrastructure.

Another key focus was the development of access to the site: A durable laterite layer was laid for the new access road to the school grounds. The material was sourced from a more distant quarry; in total, 55 truckloads of 20 tons of laterite each were applied—making this a technically and logistically extensive project. In addition, a concrete bridge with integrated drainage was constructed. This structure is an important preventive measure against erosion during the rainy season and provides long-term protection for the site. The surrounding access tracks were also leveled.

The works were carried out by the construction company DB Traveaux under the direction of Abdulye Traoré, with whom CAAS has enjoyed a very trusting and successful collaboration for many years.
These developments are an important contribution to the sustainable advancement of the school site in Kalassa.
