The middle school in Kalassa (grades 7–9) has been in operation since 2024. Now, the primary school is also being strengthened with a new building. Thanks to a generous donation, construction is currently underway on the school grounds in Kalassa, following the architectural model of the existing middle school.
Climate-adapted architecture
The new school buildings are characterized by carefully designed, climate-adapted architecture: light-filled classrooms, effective natural ventilation, shaded walkways, and robust, durable materials.
In the future, the entire school complex is planned to be equipped with solar power. This will not only allow classrooms to be cooled with fans, but also enable their use in the evenings—for example, for community gatherings and events.
