On 18 November 2025, a large delegation of the Salon International de l’Entrepreneuriat – AES 2025 visited the CAAS campus. The mission from Bamako consisted of around 65 official participants, accompanied by approximately 35 assistants and a security contingent of about 80 personnel.

The visitors were guided through the campus and received an in-depth introduction to the various training and production areas of CAAS.

The visit took place in the context of the Salon International de l’Entrepreneuriat (SIE), held from 18–21 November 2025 on the esplanade of Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako. The Salon is a new forum of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES – Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger). It promotes entrepreneurship, vocational training, and economic integration in a region where many young people work outside the formal labor market.

Featuring thematic panels, workshops, project presentations, and a competition for innovative business ideas, the Salon places a strong emphasis on innovation, self-reliance, and professional qualification.
At the opening ceremony in the afternoon, the Minister of Entrepreneurship, Employment and Vocational Training, Oumou Sall Seck, and the Prime Minister of Mali, General Abdoulaye Maïga, were in attendance.

The delegation’s visit highlights the growing importance of CAAS as a center for training and innovation in rural areas — and as an example of how practice-oriented vocational education and sustainable agriculture can create new economic opportunities.
