In August 2025, Prof. Cheick Bougadari Traoré visited CAAS in Siby with a team of doctors to conduct preventive health screenings for trainees and female staff members.
Prof. Traoré is a medical researcher at the University of Bamako and heads the Department of Anatomy and Cytology-Pathology at the University Hospital. He is recognized for his work in molecular pathology and infectious diseases.
In addition to examinations for the early detection of cervical and breast cancer, the mission also focused on education and prevention: participants received practical guidance on breast self-examination as well as recommendations for healthy living and preventive measures.
With this initiative, CAAS aims to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and contribute to the long-term health of its trainees and female staff.
