In the school garden, picturesquely located on the edge of the Mandingo Mountains, the trainees learn all aspects of small-scale horticulture – from laying out the beds to planting and caring for the seedlings to harvesting. The deep well on the site is extremely rich in water and, in addition to irrigating the garden, also contributes to the water supply of the village of Kalassa.
