Cattle farming at CAAS continues to develop very successfully. The herd now consists of 19 dairy cows with around ten calves and approximately 50 beef cattle. With the addition of two breeding bulls, CAAS is also laying the foundation for the continued development of its own strong and productive herd.

Cattle farming is an important part of the hands-on training provided at CAAS. Our trainees learn both the theoretical foundations and the practical aspects of animal husbandry, from feeding and daily care to health management and animal welfare.

The trainees are involved in many of the farm’s day-to-day activities. Working in small groups under supervision, they help prepare and distribute feed while learning how to care for livestock responsibly. In this way, they acquire valuable practical skills and knowledge that they can later apply in their own livestock keeping or in agricultural enterprises.
